Democrats Ignore the Problem

Based on the CDC Wonder data base for cause of death, the leading cause of young (10-29 years old) black males is homicide which is almost 50% higher than accidents, which is the next leading cause and the leading cause of death for young white males.

This has been a consistent pattern over the years.

Based on the FBI’s National Incident-Based Reporting System, using data where the race of the victim and the race of the victim are available, and counting only the first offender offender, ~90% of black homicides are committed by black offenders.

It is far from clear how systemic racism TODAY can explain these results.

A 2007 study, The Myth of Immigrant Criminality and the Paradox of Assimilation: Incarceration Rates Among Native And Foreign-born Men by the American Immigration Law Foundation, found that in 2000, the incarceration rates for native born blacks was ~5 times higher than black immigrants.

Perhaps there is something about inner-city culture that is having an effect.
