Obamacare - a (costly) lie

In 2010 Obama sold the Affordable Care Act (ACA) as a change that would reduce insurance costs, let you keep your doctor and would cost the country less than $0.9 trillion. (1)

He also claimed the ACA would generate $58 Billion by nationalizing student loans. 

Not so much.

The most recent CBO projections confirm that Obama’s claims were a costly lie.(2)

Current Projections

• Obamacare Subsidies $1.3 Trillion

• Medicaid expansion $1.4 Trillion

• Inflation Reduction Act enhanced subsidies $335 billion

• Nationalized student loans 1.4 Trillion(3)

And as everybody has learned, the cost of insurance has gone up and the keeping your doctor has disappeared.
