Maher Needs to Watch Brett Baier Show

While I admire Bill Maher’s coming out and developing an intellectually honest position regarding much of the neo-Marxist Democrat’s woke nonsense it was clear that he still is living much of his life in an isolated bubble. 

The Election

He seemed to have no awareness or appreciation of the legitimate arguments regarding issues that can reasonably be considered irregularities related to the 2020 election. First was the effect of the Russian collusion hoax which was based on the Clinton generated and propagated false and debunked  narrative that haunted and plagued Trump through this term. Second were the significant extralegislative voting procedures implemented by political motivated branches in key swing states that resulting in 10’s of thousands of votes cast through methods that even Jimmy Carter had previously said are subject to fraud. Third was the significant monies spent by partisan “charitable” political get out the vote efforts that favored one party over the other, that is illegal. Fourth was the Democrat fomented and supported active RESISTANCE by much of the administrative state obstructing Trumps efforts. And finally there was the burying the truth if the laptop which did expose Biden’s outright lie during the election regarding the existence and level of foreign influence money extracted by the Biden family. 

This doesn’t mean that the election was stolen and that Biden did not win. But it clearly supports a position that there were many unfair irregularities in the 2020 election that a country should try to minimize or avoid the future.

Threat to Democracy 

His position that if Trump was elected, he will somehow make himself a dictator for life is nonsense.On January 6 there was nothing close to a successful insurrection and no one has been convicted of or even charged with insurrection. Basically 70 million people voted for Trump, 10s of thousands went to a rally for Trump, thousands March to a capital, 100’s entered the capital and 10’s may have had evil intent. January 6 was a riot. There were no police officers killed there were no firearms brought to the capital.   The 10 that had evil intent should all be severely punished. Others should be punished similar to how historically they would’ve punished. Maybe similar to the BLM protesters that shut down federal courthouses and first President Trump to be taken to a secure location of the White House during their riots

Despite what Trump may have thought and may may have desired there is absolutely no support for extraconstitutional steps to remain in power. There’s no evidence that there would be any extraconstitutional support for any future desire of any person to stay in office when they don’t belong there.

And it’s seems incredible that people will take some of Trump‘s bombastic rhetoric and claim that there’s certain he will be willing and able to execute on that rhetoric when is has shown that it’s not the case. How can people forget how Trump promised to “lock her up” and then once having office didn’t do a thing about that. 

Bubbles

I’ve also heard Maher claim that he listened to MSNBC a lot and he thinks they’re more factually accurate than crazy Fox News. I spend a lot of time watching MSNBC CNN and Fox News, all daytime portions, and his position is evidence to me that he lives in a bubble and is unaware of many facts and logic that would undermine many of his views. 

I’d highly recommend he watch the Brett  Baier news on Fox News daily.  He might be surprised that how fair and balanced the show actually is especially compared to any of the alternatives. You will always hear both sides with the Democratic side clearly articulated by strong partisan Democrats. Yes there might be some slant to the stories they choose and the number of Talking Heads Supporting either side, but you will hear both sides.
