Crime Rates 2024

Crime statistics for 2024 are finalized. Based on various nationwide collection systems administered by the FBI, crime data is collected, summarized and available on the FBI’s Crime Data Explorer.

This data shows that blacks commit total crime at a 2.4 times the rate of whites. It shows that blacks commit homicide at 6.8 times the rate of whites. And it shows that blacks commit violent crimes at 3.2 times the rate of whites.
