AI is a developing technology that will transform the world. It has enormous benefits. It will displace some jobs and create others. The world is racing to develop it.
Right now, there are large companies that are claiming the risks are so large the government. I am very skeptical. It is much more likely that these large companies want the government to regulate it so that they can spend their money on lobbyist to protect their business businesses and stop others competing with them.
And there are people living in a dreamworld that believe you could trust China to stop their development.
